insolated Staples

Can any one tell me what article requires the use of insolated staples on nmb cable.

I'm 90% sure that's not in the NEC. Maybe it's a local jurisdiction thing.

There is no NEC requirement for insulated staples.
Take a look at 334.30

Besides being required in Massachusetts, insulated staples are common in the rest of New England as well. Well, at least southern N.E. Not sure about you guys up north.

They're not required here in NJ.

It was the first thing I learned about wiring in MA, and it was my dad who told me and neither one of us were even anywhere near working in the trade at the time.
