Re: Inspection requested here, please discuss!

Joe with what 40 years + of experience why not put up your inspection report of this and let us discuss that?

Please give us some details.

Is the job supposedly complete or is it at the time of this picture still under construction?

The drop light leads me to think the job is still under construction.

All I see is a 110.26 violation of the water pump contactor.

The open pull box I would want more info on.

Is the work done?

Is that power wiring, cable or phone?

Re: Inspection requested here, please discuss!

Joe, you are not breaking any forum rules by posting junk like this but why not post real questions? It seems like all you want to do is to clog up the system with your old inspections and then tell us to discuss them.

The bottom line Joe, I think most of us would be interested in your questions or your comments to other's questions and not so much on your garbage. :)

Charlie:

Is this still a Public Forum, and can we still post pictures, or ask questions for the purpose of learning how others see the situation?

Calling my material "garbage"?

Gee that's not like you Charlie!

What if this was a question by use of the picture given by some Inspection Agency or Jurisdiction asking you:

"What's Wrong Here?"

Would that question be considered as garbage?

:D

Re: Inspection requested here, please discuss!

Joe, this has never been a public forum, it is a private forum and it is owned by Mike Holt. It is moderated by a group of volunteers who enforce the rules that are approved by Mr. Holt. I have already stated that you are not breaking any forum rules. What you are doing is posting garbage (stuff that has already seen the light of day in other forums, magazines, etc.) and now you are posting here to generate additional conversation (recycling perhaps?).

I have yet to see anything posted where you are asking a question and it is seldom that I see you attempting to help anyone on this forum. You have a considerable amount of knowledge that could be put to good use if you posted and included information with the post or in the process of helping others. As it is now, I tend to shun your posts.

To answer you last question, assume this was posted by Ryan (an inspector in Utah) with questions about the picture. He would be telling us that he was inspecting this installation that was under construction and that he was having a problem with . . . All the detail that would be required for an intelligent answer would be included in his question. What was missing, we would inquire about and he would continue to get good feedback. This is not what you are doing Joe, that is why I call it garbage.

Re: Inspection requested here, please discuss!

joe: too bad you can't erase the thread like you do on the icc site when you don't like the answer.

So I am not alone in having threads that I posted to disappear under Joe's control.

That is not what it is, so let?s not bother considering whether that would be garbage.

Let?s stick to the point. This particular thread is garbage. It has no purpose that serves the good of the forum members. The extra posts that you have made, not one of which conveys any information, have convinced me that you are making game of the entire membership. I am closing this thread.
