hello another project ? is this correct if i use from a busplug, a fused type disconnect , De type fuses ,as my overcurrent device for a motor,sizeing it at 175% per code book, and then just size the wire for 125% for the FLC of the motor? is this all i would need ? thanks just starting to learn this stuff.:grin: :-?
 
close, no cigar!
you fuses would be short circuit protection.
You would still need to assure some type motor overload protection.
(with some exceptions)

ok, i see where i would need to add the overloads at 115% of FLA of the motor. thanks Gus.
