I found a thread that answered a couple of questions, but I need more info.

Prior to laying LVP, I want to cut a shallow trench in my slab and run power to a floor outlet (dry conditions).

1) Can I run 12g Romex through non-metallic flexible conduit, or preferably,
2) Can I use flexible metal conduit, e.g., Alflex Aluminum Armor - 12/2.

In either case, does the conduit have to be secured to the outlet box, or can the Romex (or Alflex wires) exit the conduit and enter the outlet box through the short air gap between the trench and the outlet box.

Thanks Very Much!

<Edit> The post I read was in this subforum, but this might not be the right place.
