I ran outdoor #12 cable to heater (outdoor shower) via dedicated 20 amp GFCI. I slowed flow rate to unit so I get warmer water, but on the edge of tripping breaker as if I increase flow rate or temp it trips. Is there a slow blow 20 amp GFCI? With the extra insulation around wires with outdoor (gray) cable could I run a 25 amp breaker as outdoor showers only draw for less than 5 mins...The unit does say 30 amp draw (when used at max temp and flow rate) but it appears I only need just over 20 amps to run continuous warm water.....feed cable in under deck/in walls and changing to #10 not really an easy option. Any opinions?
