hello, I was wondering if anyone knew of a good text book on instrumentation? I do waste water work often and we deal with several instruments in the field but I would like to know more about how the theory of the cables and devices. Possibly an intermediate book rather than a beginner.

Also I was wondering of any classes available to get any certification online? My local union offers them occasional but not often.

Thanks for any advice.

The ISA has a lot of such books.

They also have certification programs. Whether they are worth the trouble and expense is something only you can tell. They basically offer classes both online and in person, and offline materials to help you pass their certification tests.

The ISA CCST is a well respected certification. There are three levels for CCST
American Technical Publishers may have an instrumentation book, they used to have one anyway
