The idea of a bushing is to protect the conductors -- yes you can nick the nylon jacket when installing the conductor in very large wires but the bushing you showed would not protect the wires during installation. Yes, that thread is if the pvc has a fitting such as a connector into a box then the threads need protection. There is no connector in an LB......smooth all the wayThat was my thinking but some threads right here such as this one threw me off a bit. Appreciated.
