How can you possibly install a bushing on that. The Pvc lb is very smooth so no bushing needed

Yes, besides it is not designed for a bushing. The idea of a bushing is to protect the conductors -- yes you can nick the nylon jacket when installing the conductor in very large wires but the bushing you showed would not protect the wires during installation. I believe there are tools you can use to protect the wire on install

Yes, that thread is if the pvc has a fitting such as a connector into a box then the threads need protection. There is no connector in an LB......smooth all the way
