Insulating Glove Inspection

Does anyone know what the inspection interval is for these type gloves, as outline in ASTM requirements. I know what OSHA states and the NEC directs you to use the appropriate standard(s). I do not have a copy of the ASTM standard. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

from memory, test before each use (pin hole) and dielectric test each 6 mo or replace with new. i'll look for the reference later. JMSO

Yep, every 6 months per D120.

Actually it is every 6 months after being issued or 12 months (On shelf) whichever comes first. That tends to confuse people more than anything so bests to just say every 6 months.

I like to use 2 different colors for my guys (Yellow and Red) Red is for Jan-June, Yellow is for July-Dec, we do swaps 1st week of Jan and July, makes tracking easier and dosent cost anything.

I am not sure, but it stuck in my mine in the MSHA (mine safety and heath administration) that it was every 90 days. HUMMMMMMM:-?
