After doing some furnace work where no probes would go, I am considering piercing probes like Fluke's TP82's. Any of you have opinions on these types of probes/attachments????

Most of any applications I will use these in will be MTW insulation, therefore I think these will be priceless. Are any of you employing them????

I've used a Fluke insulation piercing probe for years, not sure of the model #. The only problem is that I've found is that they tend to only work well on smaller conductors. Other than that they work very well.

I have this one:

i use them as well... #12 is an iffy and wiggly connection... what he said.

however, when you've got # 14 MTW pulled straight thru a 4s box, they
are wonderful.:D
