Insulation resistance testing

A customer is demanding we perform IR testing on some wiring we are doing.

I don't want to write a procedure for doing such a thing if it is something I can buy.

Is such a procedure from some recognized body available?

If not, is there a good one floating around?

Yes- Use the NETA Standards for this.....they have (3) of them for initial Acceptance, Maintenance and another I don't use...lol

I don't see any actual procedure for an IR test in either of these documents.

I found test info on page 37 in the first manual for low voltage cables.

I looked a little closer. There is a very limited description of what is to be done. I guess I can expand on it some.
