Intelligent Sub-Metering

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone had recently worked on a project where each service from a swbd was monitored individually using a digital intelligent metering system? Im just trying to figure out what a typical installation cost would be and if it would be a financially feasible option as opposed to the owner dividing utility bills based on square footage of the tenants.
