I have tried using the resi load calculator offered on Mike Holt's home page, but I can't get it not to include elect dryer load!
Any suggestions on how to fix/use that calculator -or- do you know of a link to another calculator that works??

Thank you.

Re: Interactive residential load calculator?

In order to eliminate the dryer load go down to where the electric dryer is, just below the yellow column on the left. click on the cell and press delete.
The pool load is more complicated. you must scroll below the actual load calc to the pool panel box. There are drop down menus that you need to open. In each menu you must highlight select. Also there are a couple of loads after this that you must select the box and delete. It is a little hassle, but since the cells are locked you can't enter a new argument for the pool check box.

Gentlemen: I've had problems with the residential load calculator, also.. viz. I cannot print it. I would really like to print the entire thing after I've done the calculations.. but no such luck.. Any ideas ? thnx, Jim Green

You could try printing a snapshot of your computer screen after you finish your load calculation. It is how I printed it. I use a Mac, so it is control-shift-4 for us. I have utterly no idea how or if this is possible with Windows
