:( We Had a kitchen re-model done and new line of what I believe is Nomex, (yellow in color) was run suppling power to the dishwasher and the other misc outlets however a radio is plugged into one of the outlets, (standard GFCI and when it's on part of the AM Band I hear a alternating Audio noise. I unplugged or turned off other things around it with no differance, Howver when I plugged in a UPS into the outlet that the radio was in, and IN turn plugged the radio into the UPS the Noise went away,
can GFCI's cause problems like this ? or should I look else where the only other thing is the Nomex is ty-wraped a goo amount of the way to a conduit that is running the 220V for the dryer we used to have, I'm thinking it's the GFCI but wanted to get a 2nd opinion

This is not a forum for DIY'rs but since you are not likely to do wiring:
The GFCI is not causing your problem.
AM radio is subject to interference. FM is not. Try a different radio or different location.
