When installing the intersystem bonding terminal, i always scrap off the panel paint and install a grounding bar with two 8-32 screws and nuts.

My questions: The intersystem bonding terminal has be listed as such? or my mention installation is fine.

I haven't been called on it yet, honestly non of the local inspectors have asked for it. (even though it was installed)

If it's just installing the grounding bar in a panel. I'll assume your talking about Article 250.12 Clean Surfaces?

I'd sugguest a close read of Articles 250.4 & 250.6.

I had to look up Intersystem Bonding Termination in 100, that phrase is used in respects to communication systems.
If it's a comm. systems that has it's own grounding up in 800 and other places based on the Index under Communication Circuits, but I'd also keep the previous articles in mind depending on what your doing...

See 250.94(1). If your IBB is "listed as grounding and bonding equipment", it's allowed, although it's really ugly.

Before I found some made specifically for that, I just used a ground bar and screwed it to the house under the meter. I never tried screwing directly to the meter or outside panel.

Now I just buy the ones made for it and have a label on the cover. The label should help, but how many phone or cable/satellite guys know what it's for?

I just move the other system grounds over to my new intersystem grounding bar when I install it. I never call the number on the yellow tag to tell them I disconnected and moved it :D I also tear the tags off my pillows...

Go Directly To Jail :D

There are intersystem bonding kits that are used as you mentioned but I would be careful as to whether a standard gr. bar can be used in wet location. There are plenty of systems out there that are less sightly then a bar on the panel or meter. The second pic is with the cover-- same unit as first pic.

I just attach this to my wire to the rod.
