Intersystem bonding

I have a phone board on the second level and the intersystem bonding is located in down stairs electrical room. Can I take my #6 to building steel. Or does have to go back to intersystem per 800. There is a education. In 250.94

800.100(B)(1) doesn’t seem to leave wiggle room. It shall be connected to the IBT.

They included a new option in 250.94(B), but neglected to instruct us to connect it to anything as required in (A). :slaphead:

The exception to (A) would be for buildings existent prior to the IBT requirement.

The code intent, IMO, is to avoid two ground references at the phone board: one from connecting #6 to building steel ground and other possibly from coaxial cable shield connected to some other ground.
