I found one on ebay but I'm looking for a long term solution in case we need more.

Does anyone make one that won't cause explosions? Probably everyone.

Have any of them paid some huge fee to classify them as "explosion proof" and charge 100X what they are worth? Good question.

Sorry. I'm not being helpful. Just venting about how many things are classified these days.

Who or what is requiring this otherwise common and cheap tool to be "explosion proof" and what certification are they requiring?
