wiring an intrinsically safe transmitter on a vessel. The area is classified as class I div 2 and class I div 1 within a 3' bubble around the manway of the vessel. If the transmitter is to be installed in the class I div 1 area, can LFMC be used (NEC 504.20); is a boundry seal required where the raceway enters the class I div 1 area from the class I div 2 area (NEC 501.15 (A)(4)?

Yes.

...is a boundry seal required where the raceway enters the class I div 1 area from the class I div 2 area (NEC 501.15 (A)(4)?
Yes, but it isn't required to be explosionproof.[Section 504.70]

Make sure the entire installation is consistent with a control drawing [Sections 504.10(A) and 500.2]
