Hello fellow Electricians. I have been in the trade for many years starting out in residential and commercial construction and am now working as a multi crafted Maintenance Tech. I joined this forum some time ago and have been absent as time prevented me from enjoying the conversations.
At any rate, I have come back and look forward to enjoying the topics that typically come up here.
My question is, when installing a new 110v Duplex Outlet, is it the "norm" to mount them inverted, where the Ground Prong is above the power and neutral connection? I have heard several opinions on this and would like to get some professional input. Any code related answers will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your time people
