Inverter System

Hello Everyone:

is inverter system covered under NFPA 110 or this is strictly for generator? The reason I'm asking because I would like to know if I need to house the inverter in 2hrs fire rated room or it can be within the electrical room. This project is located in California ans not sure if there another local codes that we need to comply with. I'm looking at section 1.1.4 where it says it doesn't covered stored energy which I took it as batteries (such as inverter system).



Any thoughts?

NFPA 111 is similar to NFPA 110 only it covers stored energy systems instead of generators.

I do not believe that NFPA 110 or 111 is code in California.
