Iraq work

Now that Uncle Sam is pulling the so called last "combat troops " out of Iraq ,you used to hear of big money for Electricians there . Did anyone here spend any time there doing that and was it worth it ?

Uncle Sam still has 50K "non-combat" personal in Iraq, so I expect there will be a need for electricians there for some time to come... Based on normal US practice, once a base is established in a foreign territory, it tends to stay there forever.

How about the Naval Base at Subic Bay and Clark AFB in the Philippines? They kicked us out!! Gosh, I sure drank lots of San Miguel beer in Olongapo.
