I have biolab which has mice experiments. Their is a room called irradiator room which uses radiation on mice. I am not sure what kind of radiation it uses for sure.

I looked at 517 part iv it applies to x ray and 517 applies to humans so it would not apply to irradiator. So then I go to 660 which then applies to x ray equipment for non medical use.

However is their any section in NEC 2017 just for radiation device? Also does anyone know if irradiator would be covered by NEC 2017 or not and which section?

You only need to worry about the electrical feeders and branch circuits to the equipment and room, AFIK, the equipment itself is under the USDA.

A disconnect for the equipment would be part of the field wiring so if a disconnect would be required the designer or equipment manufacturers drawings should have shown it. If it's not shown note the plans to add it and follow all applicable codes.
