Is Bonding required?

I have rooftop mounted HVAC Units in a building in Florida. The HVAC units are mounted on aluminum brackets. Do the brackets have to be bonded to the HVAC equipment? I reviewed NEC 250.110 and 250.112 but still not sure if this qualifies under any of those sections. Please advice.

IMO no, they're already bonded by the connection to the unit.

Maybe. Often there are rubber and cork pads under the unit for vibration and the unit is semi- loosely bolted down.

They need to be of equal potential if their is a chance they could become energized.

Thank You. So what i gather from the replies is that if the units are mounted directly on the aluminum strut they do not require additional bonding. If they are mounted using rubber pads or any other insulation material, they may require bonding?
