Hi Larry the guys from the supply house told me it was a Tray Cable and it has 3 insulated conductors #4 and a bare # 8 ground. It's a direct burial but was told I had to have it covered just where it comes up out of the groundTrey cable is three-conductor cable.
Trey means three.Hi Larry the guys from the supply house told me it was a Tray Cable and it has 3 insulated conductors #4 and a bare # 8 ground.
Ok can I ask what type of cable this would be considered? It's a large black cable with 3 conductors and a bare ground wire. It's also a direct burial rated cableTrey means three.
It looks just like this..Trey means three.
Generaclists it's cable as TC. it has 2 phase, 1 netural, and 1 ground conductor, plus 7 18awg control conductors.Trey cable is three-conductor cable.

That was (meant as) a joke, to anyone who didn't realize it. Maybe I should have called it treyplex.Trey cable is three-conductor cable.
