Is it correct that the 2011 NEC "wiring in ducts not used for air handling, Fabricated Ducts for Environmental Air and Other Spaces for Environmental Air (plenums), Article 300.22, applies only to cable rated 0-600 volts and does not permit unjacketed medium voltage MC cables?
Article 300.2(A) clearly states that Article 300 applies to 0-600 volt rated cable. It also states that wiring methods in 300 shall be permitted for cable rated over 600 volts ?where specifically permitted elsewhere in the code.? I cannot find permission for installation in accordance with 300.22 for unjacketed MV-MC cables elsewhere in the code.
