If so, what is the code reference. and what is the clearance away from window assuming the window is designed to be opened. This question is from an NEC exam prep book.

There are no clearance requirements for cables or conduits.
That might depend on the window design & size.@ramihamdan
The only issue with distance from a window is if you have open conductors emerging from a conduit or cable (like coming out of a weatherhead). Conductors over the top of a window are considered out of reach.
The exception to 230.9 applies to all types of windows.That might depend on the window design & size.
