I'm going to say yes, no; well yes... :)

If you'll read the M/W definition of theory there are thirty eight entries, the default is a noun.

The first three answers as listed from the dictionary will give you my yes, no; yes!

MO - It's a bad word to use if reference to a test, if based on the definition of # Two... get the idea? Now sometimes it might take some abstract thought at time to grasp the Code and the laws that pertain.

I will be almost sure that they will be asking you real questions, a yes /no - correct or false, to real applications that will reqiure math, understand applications, principles or requirements and of Law & Code, not so much theory.

Most State web sites who controls the licensing will ususally give a break down on the test X number of these type questions, Y number of these types.

I'd be all over that web site, I know I know mine. if not look up the tester and seek out there site and learn from them.

The host of this web site has several free tests and self study courses from basic electrical through to master level testing. Please search this sight for the things that you feel would boost your insight.

My personal opinion no they will not get into atomic therory but they might throw in a joule calculation. I'd learn all about that, know it backwards and forward.

Hope that helps, Good Luck!

I am working on practice exams all day today

on more question

In 310.16 should you use 60 degree column as the "default" column when no oter info on wire type is given?

Charles Miller book seem to point to 60 degree and It seems that others will use 75 degree

I understand that 90 degreeis used when de-rating

I am just confused as to the Go-To column when no specific wire type is given

thanks
