Is this allowed by the NEC and what codes are against it?

I have the following installation with the PVC cloating there across to the building. I am trying to find out if there are any NEC codes against this installation. To me it just doesn't seem right but i tried searching and can't find a specific thing that would eliminate it. Anyone willing to help??

It is hard to tell what is going on from just this one photo.

3 weather heads, 3 meters, but where are the service disconnects?

The code on service masts are vague but I don't normally see PVC unsupported near the point of attachment. There should be something capable of supporting the wires spanned from the pole to the weatherhead. That might also fall under utility rules. (230.28)

You would also need to double check the conduit entering the building is properly secured / supported. I can't tell the length of that conduit from the photo.
 
this is not my installation, it is one already installed. service disconnects are installed on the back of the cement post. weather head PVC pipes are supported by a galvanized 2 inch pipe.

my concern is more specifically that pipe floating from the post to the house. is there any NEC codes against the use of PVC pipe in that kind of scenario? i mean aside from the fact they are using 90 degree elbows which is also crazy.
 
I will add that if you are in the Caribbean then I am surprised they even allow pvc. In some areas of NC at the beach, pvc is not allowed because of the effects that the sun has on it. Not an NEC issue but PVC will definitely be a problem. What you have is plumbing PVC, not electrical, and I bet it isn't even sunlight resistant.
 
I went to Belize for a while. Blew me away that the services there were all built with PVC plumbing pipe and fittings. They build it around the wire rather than try to pull it in.
Go figure..

Also, all the plumbing there is on the EXTERIOR of the house.
 
ok the PVC issue is noted, but i am asking specifically regarding the use of conduit (electrical or not) for floating across like that.
 
I would have supported the conduit going to the building with strut or something similar attached to the house and the pipe service support. What is the spacing on PVC supports? 3'?

Assuming 2 inch and assuming it were listed electrical PVC maximum distance between supports would be 5 feet per Table 352.30(B).

If it were RMC instead of PVC Table 344.30(B) would allow 16 feet between supports.

Neither type raceway is necessarily required to follow along the structure and can span open spaces within support limitations.
 
This is world class pipe fitting work. I’m astonished they fished all those plumbing 90s over the wire. Had to take some serious time

When labor is cheaper than the correct materials you use the cheaper materials when nobody is enforcing any rules.
 
I would say it all depends on what's on the other side of where it penetrates the Structure.
