Not my best work. A panel change I did today on Sunday because I am a weekend warrior electrician. I will probably change this before inspection. Yes there is a kink in the Sealtite. I had a dumb attack and tried to offset over because there were no 1/2" KOs straight up. I had a piece of emt with me but no bender.

The LB is metallic, the Sealtite is non-metallic. There is a 10/2 with ground Romex inside.

Aside from the Romex being in what could be considered a wet location, is this wrong?

Should this be an all metallic or all non-metallic installation?

He has to pull the romex out and fix the whip. He may as well make that a nm LB while he's there.

What is on the other end of the LB? Is it bonded anywhere? If not, metallic.

We would have twisted the LB and let the sealtite do a gentle 30 or 45, if it would move.
That is my question as well - what is on the other end of the LB? If metallic raceway and properly bonded on other end I have no problem with having a metal conduit body there.

Thanks guys.

The LB just stubs into the crawlspace where someone ran Romex for the air conditioner years ago. It's probably not bonded, but I didn't crawl under there to look.

I do like the 250.86 exception 2 idea.

Since I'm fixing the kink, I'll either do all metal or all plastic so there will be no question.
