I completed a rough-in a few months ago for a new residential home. Was just notified that the built-in microwave will be moved to the kitchen island. I ran romex #12 uf to the island through conduit in the floor on its on dedicated circuit. Trying to determine if it is ok to have the microwave on the island circuit or if I will have to run another #12 for the microwave. If I had to do that, conduit fill becomes an issue as well as access now that everything is dried in. Thoughts?

I agree with Bill in that it all depends on the MW specs.
Most of the ones I see, the manufacturer requires a dedicated circuit.
If you can access your conduit, the fill issue should be addressable by sing THWN-2 rather than UF.

This is from the manual for Sharp microwaves. No dedicated circuit required.
