Isolated equipment ground

If a spec calls for a isolated grounding receptacle, can my grounding conductor be a plain green conductor? Does it need any special markings? Green with yellow strip.

Nothing special needed, just needs to comply with 250.119 and you have a way to identify it from any other EGCs present.

It is customary for an isolated ground to be green with a yellow stripe to distinguish it from "dirty" grounds and may be a job spec.
