Isolated power conductor identification

I have an OR project in which the factory wires for the booms are brown and orange with a yellow stripe and say connect to Line Isolation Monitor panel. We don't have a LIM in the room (GFCIs instead) and just connect to standard branch panel. Article 200.6 gives certain parameters for the grounded conductors which don't include the colors to these boom wires.

Can I connect my black and white conductors to these brown and yellow conductors or do i need to have the factory replace them?

Looks like brown and orange are standard colors for the outputs of the LIM.

Since the manufacturer's specifications require connecting to a LIM I would think supplying it from any other source would be a violation, regardless of wire color.

Yes, get with the manufacturer to see what they say. They may have a different version for what you are wanting to do.

replacing orn and yel with blk and wht in the booms would certainly be a violation of the listing.
1. Can the booms be ordered with blk and wht?
2. Can you ask the AHJ?
3. or call the boom mfg and ask whats been done in the past?

Health care is not my area of expertise
