isolated power systems in hospitals

Can an existing IPS be used to serve office type loads such as computers, coffee machines, etc? I am dealing with an old hospital where the IPS panels are no longer used for patients and the hospital wants to use the systems for office type loads. There are no other panelboards or receptacles other than IPS receptacles in these areas. Please help!

I would also think that if you were going to be plugging in coffee pots etc. you would be getting allot of alarms on the monitor.
