Isolation xfmr for voltage drop

Has anyone ever used an isolation xfmr to keep voltage drop from happening? Have a 1.2 million sqft warehouse that is being converted to a manufacturing facility. Planning temp power now. Some of the runs to my skids are pretty long.

How, by boosting voltage? You can do that by using it as a boost autotransformer, you probably don't need the isolation aspect.

The drawback is if the load varies. Voltage may be too high for the controller if the load is off. Probably the best way is to double the voltage at the start, then step it back down at the end.
