Hi everyone, long time lurker, first time poster. I am a Systems Engineer with a background in I.T. based out of Washington. I am trying to find out what common pain points you have in your day to day operations that you wish would just go away. Maybe you want automation and software changes but you don't know what to ask or where to start. Maybe there's stuff on your website that you want to change but don't know how, so you put it off because you just want to focus on your business. This is a judgement free thread 🤜🤛.

Over the years, I’ve noticed common pain points:
  • "This stupid thing should just have a button I can just click for this."
  • "I don't know what I don't know, can you help me go through my processes to see what I could be doing better?"
  • I have to update information in three different excel sheets, I wish I could update one and be done with it.
  • These repetitive manual tasks are eating up hours each week and month. Having to manually copy and paste stuff from one app to another app.
  • Outdated or rigid software that doesn’t work well with other software.
  • Slow websites, applications, or databases that frustrate employees, customers, and cut into your bottom line
  • IT or MSP costs that can spiral without clear ROIs. E.g. my IT guy keeps throwing a band aid fix out (just reboot) instead of addressing the root cause
  • You wish there was a simple mobile app for your employees and or customers that could let them upload job details, photos, and more, which are sent directly to you or your CRM tool.
  • I wish I had backed up that data better, now it's gone forever.
I recently helped a client automate some of their inventory tracking, saving them 15+ hours per month and reducing human errors by 30+%. Another business saw a 300% boost in traffic after I helped them restructure their business' social media presence. One other business tried out a newer project management app that was more intuitive; they were able to get projects done 30% faster after they got used to the new workflow.

If any of these resonate:
  1. What’s your biggest technical or IT headache right now?
  2. What solutions have you tried that didn’t help and which ones actually helped?
I’m happy to share tips (no strings attached!) or brainstorm solutions tailored to your needs—whether it’s building custom tools, automating workflows, social media marketing, making website adjustments, and more. Let’s talk below! I want to foster new and beneficial relationships. If you’d like a personal and free consultation on what is bothering you, let me know. I don't want to come off as a spammer, I am genuinely here to try and help out.

You do realize this is a forum for electricians, right?
If i needed I.t. advice for how to address I.t problems, i would google for a A.i. answer- but it will probably say "Try powering down, then power back up."

It's almost always IT people who are sure they know what they're doing and what's right for me, and often want to sell me a bill of goods.

Haha, well that makes at least two grumpy people in this thread. You and me.

Yeah but in this thread it's authenticate intelligence. Not the BS that is now coming from Google, you can't trust Google more than you can throw a stick nowadays.

mine is requesting reviews on google.
And talking picture of my job.
Facebook post.

Been using ai to make post for me but still it’s the most boring thing in the world to do these steps.
I paid a guy to redesign my website- make a quick QR link straight to my google reviews and he been doing video editing for some post.

But I am a just lazy to ask for reviews, wife’s job lol

Been using house call pro also and it’s garbage.

Or I am garbage still flipping that coin.

So what do you offer lol since your selling yourself
