you should use your new found hot stick to go turn off the pizza hut.

then the townspeople will no longer have to suffer the greasy bread topped with synthetic mobil1 cheese they call pizza.

Was it in good shape? Might want to have it tested if your going to use on live circuits.

It seems to be fine, there was a pair of tree limb nippers next to it that looked like they got ran over. I dont really know what I would ever need it for, I have a couple buddies that work at the utility company, I will ask them if they are missing one.

I have an old two piece phone co. stick (about 15' total) that comes in handy in a low attic.

Whenever I am in a commercial ceiling, I make sure to shine my flashlight around to see what tools other trades have left up there on top of ceiling tiles, ductwork etc. that have fallen out of other people's toolbags. Recovering fallen tools is the only way to make up for all the tools that have fallen out of my bag / truck.

I just found a 3 section hot stick on my way home from Pizza hut, it was just laying along side the road....

Awesome. Now you don't need to call the POCO for service changes, you can pull your own cutouts! Less permits and inspections, THIS IS GREAT!

Which means you can lower your prices and compete with the lowballers...

I think each time I have a good find along the side of the road or in a ceiling cavity, karma strikes and I loose one of my own.

I consider it an exchange program.

So far I've found a brand new set of drill bits and I mean brand new, it doesn't look like any of them had been used, a nice fiberglass painters pole and I found one of the "dog sticks" that the utility guys carry. I've never used the stick on a dog, but it works great on irate customers.:D
