When drawings/ spec calls for a particular size stub up( e.g. 3/4", 1" etc.) for IT/Data have you ever used greenfield/flex instead of hard conduit( EMT etc.)?
No. Wouldn't want to risk the complaints. When drawings/ spec calls for a particular size stub up( e.g. 3/4", 1" etc.) for IT/Data have you ever used greenfield/flex instead of hard conduit( EMT etc.)?
Plus it can be a pain at times pulling through flex.No. Wouldn't want to risk the complaints.
Does the spec say what type of raceway or does it just say a 3/4" or 1" raceway? FMC is a raceway so if the spec just says raceway then that would comply. When drawings/ spec calls for a particular size stub up( e.g. 3/4", 1" etc.) for IT/Data have you ever used greenfield/flex instead of hard conduit( EMT etc.)?
Always only says "conduit".Does the spec say what type of raceway or does it just say a 3/4" or 1" raceway? FMC is a raceway so if the spec just says raceway then that would comply.
Then FMC would comply. Why wouldn't you want to use EMT?Always only says "conduit".
Cheaper but I don't think we'd figure it that way. Then FMC would comply. Why wouldn't you want to use EMT?
