Does anyone know if ITE makes a kit for backfed breakers. Also, my brother was told by a home inspector that he needed a licensed electrician to check out his home before selling it. Upon checking out the panel, I noticed the only code infraction was the clip to hold the main lug breaker in place. Would anyone in here worry about this small infraction or would you just take the time to fix it. I know the answer I just want to see what you all have to say. Thanks.

What was wrong with the clip, was it missing or damaged? If'n it were me and since it's a siblings house you're looking at, I'd fix it...for a small fee of a few beers and dinner afterwards. :D

Main breaker retainer kits for Siemens loadcenters are, MBR1 for EQ loadcenters, MBR2 for "Ultimate" load centers.

If these work, suspect it will depend on the age of the panel.
