The closing date for Proposals to the 2008 NEC is 5:00PM EST, November 4, 2005.

The NFPA is fairly generous with the form a Proposal comes in and they will generally try "to make sense of it," if possible. I still recommend one of the methods listed in the "flagged" topics at the beginning of the Forum.

However, the cutoff time is absolute. A Proposal received on the FAX machine marked as sent at 5:01PM EST will be returned.

After June 23, 2006 or so, we can start discussing the Report on Proposals - then the real fun begins. :D

Careful there...you might be called a troublemaker, like one chairman called me last cycle because I sent too many proposals to his panel.
