I think that garage services should be banned..How can you have your panel clearances in a normal garage...Its fine and dandy until the owners move it and every time he pulls in the garage he is violating the sacred Code...I think we should have to paint a red 30" x 36'' space and have two concrete pilons to prevent a car from encroaching on the dedicated space ...Has this been kicked around before and what do you think?
 
I have had customers who refuse to move cars - I refuse to work - One guy handed me the keys to his Rolls to move it - just looked at him like 'you're kidding right?' (Wheres the keys to the Ferrari - I'm on it! "I'll be right back....")

I see this quite often in factories and warehouses to prevent someone from parking a pallet or bin or who knows what in front of a panel.

They are usually painted yellow though, not red.:grin:

You don't need concrete pillions. Just hang a tennace ball on a string out in front of it.
 
To a guy that doesn't drink (I'm in that group), it's pretty easy to spot some PWI posts. Friday and Saturday nights are good for some real Jim-Dandy's. The strongest stuff you can get at my house is maybe a Red Bull and Listerine bomb shot.

Thats usually where the out-going shippments are - or a fork-lift....

I agree, and they should also be baned in basements, because there is always stuff piled in front of them! :)

Let's not put them outside, either. Everyone plants trees and shrubs around them to hide it from view.
