I would like to get some views on a problem I think I'm going to have.

I have a Kitchen where I need to extend a circuit but the only place I can see to put a J-Box is behind the Dishwasher.

Would a J-Box behind the Dishwasher work for you?

I wouldn't have a problem with it as most times the wire for the DW is just stubbed up through the floor. I don't know what the wires are that you are extending but you could either just put those in the JB or add the DW circuit to the JB to make it cleaner.

Kitchen is being reconfigured. The circuit is one of the SABC where I'm removing existing outlet location and moving it over a few feet. The cables will not reach the new location so I need to make a junction.

The Dishwasher circuit is too short to reach into the Dishwasher opening. I'm planning on using a receptacle in the cabinet next to the Dishwasher then cord & plug the DW.
