Hello! First, thanks to everyone for helping so often. This forum is great, helped me a lot.
I live in Colorado Springs, been doing new houses for about two years, a little commercial experience before that, but this city is just getting crazier and more and more expensive. Long story short, I'm getting my family out of here.
Iowa looks good! Got some family there, affordable houses, but I was really wondering if I could get some insight into the job situation there if anyone is there? Work in the bigger cities is great as those suburbs look sweet. Maybe around Ames, Iowa City, Cedar Rapids, or Des Moines?
And just some questions about work conditions. What does summer work look like? Lot of overnight stuff or does it get that hot? Downtime in the winter?
Any help in these directions would be much appreciated, thank you!
