Schooie, I don't think you will find it. The energy is used up in the ballast. Using a f40 lamp, with a magnetic ballast, will use more energy than using a f40 with an electronic ballast. You will save even more by using a f32 lamp, plus you get better effiecency from the lamp, mainly because of it's size (which allow more light to reflect off reflector) and a better use of the gases inside the lamp.

If you need to compare two different systems, use the ballast amps.
