Hi All,

Please keep in mind with everything I'm about to say that my background is Electrical Engineering with focus in high tech so everything in the construction realm is pretty new to me still.

I'm sure this has probably passed by the ringer a couple times with new people so here we go. First off I've been looking for books to basically give me the best knowledge as quickly as possible with estimating/NEC code. Here is what i have so far. And if you recommend any other books it would be greatly appreciated.

American Electricians' Handbook Terrell Croft, et al

Illustrated Guide to the NEC (Illustrated Guide to the National Electrical Code (Nec)) Charles R. Miller

Ferm's Fast Finder Index, NEC-2008 (2 Volumes) International Association of Electrical Inspectors, et al

Also, as far as Accubid is concerned does anyone know how to get around learning without a class through Trimble's website? Like is there a free online tutorial? We have been in a internal training course at my current company and the pace is pretty slow... I'm not sure what I can do to become better at using Accubid to 1.) Building Fixtures, PNL, Feeders, and what is associated with them (aka. common assemblies). Like is there a book that could help me with that specifically? 2.) Just learning how to maneuver through the program.

Thanks for all the info! :D
