Hello, is anyone out there running foreign 220Vac motors on US supplies?
The controller is a SF90E, requiring 220Vac input with one hot and one neutral.
My question is: What's the best accepted method of supplying that voltage in the US?
I have 208y and 480/277 available.
Looking for a source of formal information, but anecdotal is also welcome.
Thank you.

Welcome to the forum.

The "best" way would be to use a 208-to-220v transformer or a 277-to-220v transformer.

I don't know whether a 277-to-220 auto-transformr exists.

Thank you, and thanks. I read here often but first time posting.

A bit of digging and I see that I should be able to use this model transformer and pull 219 from one leg and the neutral to feed it properly for a permanent installation. (3-Phase 208V Delta - 380 Y/ 219 (Step Up Transformer) SKU: MIT-DRY-187-1)

A lot more digging and I came across these budget friendly converters that should suit my current needs for testing purposes. The mini-conveyor I'm wanting to run is only 90watts and 50/60Hz capable. The built-in EU plugs would get me to the single hot 220 + neutral safely.

The R&D curiosity part of me wonders if there would be any cons to using two hot phases of my 208 (214 across phases), one phase to hot and one phase to neutral.
