junction box next to water pipe

Is it a code violation to have a 4" square junction box with cover plate mounted right next to a water shut off valve for an ice machine?
It appears the water shut off valve leaks a little when they turn it on/off. The shut off valve sticks out from the wall further than the surface mounted junction box.

Normally it would be a dry location.

Not a violation and not something to worry about. You could take the cover off the junction box and spray it with a garden hose and nothing is going to happen.

I remember at one time , it may of been a school or hospital spec that water lines are not allowed to run over switch gear or distribution panels, probably for the concern of.. in the event of bursting or leaking directly over electrical systems.
