I have a garage that caught on fire and has damaged the wires that supply the house.

The 200amp main panel is located on the far side the garage. The garage caught fire next to the door to the house and all the wires from the panel that supply the house are above it most are burnt and need to be replaced. I was thinking to putting two PVC junction boxes and replacing the burnt wire back to the panel from these junction boxes.

If you are not going to completely replace the wiring in a building after a fire at the minimum you should megger test the wiring you are keeping to make double sure.

Thanks for the suggestions it was a small fire and the house still
has power being used. The insulation is mostly what is burnt.
i have suggested turning it off to the wires with the damage, until they are
replaced.

If they are damaged the fire marshal should have demanded meter pulled till repaired and inspected. I have done many fire jobs and used junction boxes. Be sure you make the splice far enough back so you have no damaged wires. Depending on how hot the fire was it might be wise to replace as much as you can. On major fires i usually liked to meet the fire marshal and inspector.
I would prefer plastic boxes as it makes your job easy.
