Can a 12x12 Junction box be supported by just the Rigid conduit going into it according to article 314.23 (e) you can support a box using rigid as long as it is 100 in. 3 and has threaded entries correct? So this tells me they are talking about conduit bodies is the way I interpet it not nema 3r or 4 just boxes right?

No, you cannot. The box needs to have thread bosses as part of the
box i.e. a FS box or bell box. I am not sure about box volume, but
100" ? sounds kinda large...I don't have code book available to read
the article.

Conduit bodies are not boxes, but you do need boxes with threaded entries.
