Junction Boxes

Could anyone direct me to the part of the NEC (2002) that would address breaker boxes turned to junction boxes in a bathroom? I think I have a solution but I don't want to approve something that is really against code... Thanks for any help with sections.

It doesn't say you can't have a panel, it simply says that you can't have any overcurrent devices.

Okay thanks that helps, I suggested that it needs to be non-current carrying box with solid cover and rubber seal to remain in the bath as a junction. Does this sound like I am way off base?

It can be any type of box unless it's in a wet location.

Off base. A bathroom s not a wet location but the shower stall itself is. You don't have weatherproof covers in the bathroom so why would you need it for a junction box. Unsightly but that is about it.
