Karl Riley Sure Test Meter ???

Karl I have the Sure Test model 61-157 and it does the same thing, trip every GFCI when plugged in. I think I know why. When you plug it in the unit automatically places a 15-amp load between L-N, and again another load between L-G to determine the ground impedance.

just reset the GFI and continue with the test.

Hey, will do! Thanks for the solution. But I still wonder why it doesn't trip all the time. But then, I don't really have to know that now that I have the solution.
