Katt 2 speed 3 phase single winding 2/4 poles with 12 leads.

Can you help with a connection to test. motor came into shop with no connection data. name plate is as follows. 12.5/16 kw. 4/2 poles
 
thank you. i will give it a try. that info is in the easa hand book. only shows info for 6 lead 2 speeds. i have all 12 leads out of stater

Ok. I assume dual voltage and the kw is the output at the voltages.
12 lead connections are there in the fourth and fifth page

im sorry i forgot to list name plate volts. it is 400 volts 50 hz 2 speed single winding.

Scroll down. Pages four and five are for 12 lead.

The other thing to be careful with is that especially on this exotic of a motor they might not follow the standard either. Best to contact the manufacturer.

Good example is Toshiba. They have some “gotchas” on their wiring standard that will burn you if you just follow the standards. Also two speed motors are tricky in the first place because there are so many variations.

I thought those were 6lead...:unsure:

Katt is now owned by weg. weg rep said it could take weeks to get answer from katt.

That’s what I’m wondering. I keep going back and thinking about Post #9.
A picture of the data plate would be extremely helpful.
